Meet the Team
Abby Paver is a senior at George Mason University majoring in Film Production with minors in Business and Anthropology. She has worked on numerous film projects and has interned at Herndon Community Television.
Ben Simpson is a Senior at George Mason University set to Graduate in May with a degree in Media Production and Criticism. Ben has worked with the campus radio station, WGMU, as an on-air DJ and Sports Director. Ben has also been a sports broadcaster and engineer for 5 years calling both high school and collegiate sports. In his free time Ben likes to write comedy scripts and watch as much Netflix as possible.
Alyssa Gorman is a senior at George Mason University majoring in Film Business with minors in Psychology and Tourism and Events Management. Alyssa has had multiple video production experiences, including co-producing the live, online talk show “Be Better at Business TV” where she learned the true meaning of “if it can go wrong, it will”. Alyssa’s openness and excitement to new experiences has lead to a well-rounded background allowing her to bring in expertise from a variety of industries.
Farrell Tapscott is a senior at George Mason University majoring in Film and Video Studies with a concentration in Production.
Matthew J Sutphin was born in Georgetown and has lived in various parts of Northern Virginia growing up. He has performed as Jay Gatsby in “The Great Gatsby” recently. He enjoys making short films and has been in several television shows including HBO "House of Cards, Veep, and AMC series, Turn ." He enjoys acting, exercising and traveling. Matthew attended Virginia Commonwealth University and currently resides in Old town Alexandria.
Madeline Byrd graduated from The College of William & Mary with a B.A. in Theatre in May 2014. At W&M, she performed in Sitayana, Disappearance, The Vagina Monologues, The Death of Chivalry, and The Legend of Fatwa Fowler. Since graduating, she has appeared onstage in performances including the role of Mrs. Givings in In The Next Room at Port City Playhouse. She has also done background work on various television and film projects which filmed in the DC/MD/VA/WV area.
Dalton Barker is a senior at George Mason University majoring in Kinesiology. He has acted in multiple Paver Productions films over the years. When he's not helping out with a movie, he likes cheerleading, weightlifting, and wearing cat shirts.
TJ Baggett is a local actor of the Northern Virginia and DC Metro area. In addition to his part in "Totally Normal", he has played the lead role of Xavier in the short film "Thanks for Coming Out" and the lead role of Tommy in the short film "Thanks for the Drinks, I Love You". TJ has also had experience with many productions as background characters including the Netflix original series "House of Cards" and the television series "Deadly Affairs".
Jordan Irby has been acting for a little over a year and has been pursuing his passion for the art vigorously. He has acted in shorts, features and plays including James Baldwin’s "THE AMEN CORNER" and Randy Smiths "OLD SKOOL: HOUSE PARTY STILL GOING ON" at Arena Players in Baltimore. Jordan is attending Howard Community College as a Graphic Design major and is graduating in the winter of 2015. Jordan enjoys art, singing, dancing, participating in church activities, and music.
